Who I am
I'm a full-stack developer at Campsites.co.uk, building the web platform and iOS/Android app for a UK holidays site. I have a particular interest in frontend and UX, and I've been designing in Figma to bring more polish to the interfaces I build. Outside work I play chess and tennis, and I spend a lot of time learning more about UX.

Junior Full-Stack Developer
Building and maintaining features across a UK holidays platform serving 10m+ annual users.
- Restructured part of the booking flow to strengthen account security, shipped behind a feature flag for safe rollback.
- Built quick search filters for the web and app, handling campsite and pitch-level facilities whose behaviour changes by search type.
- Built the app's interactive map with custom pins, Mapbox clustering, and platform-specific handling for iOS and Android, tuned for smooth performance with large numbers of listings.
Lab Demonstrator
Teaching assistant for databases and software engineering modules.
- Delivered hands-on support to groups of students across SQL and Software Engineering practicals.
- Prepared instructional materials in collaboration with academic staff.
- Assessed student understanding, adapting explanations to different learning styles
Full-Stack Software Intern
Innovate UK Knowledge Transfer Partnership project building an Industry 4.0 telemetry system.
- Built a full-stack event and alert management application integrating with industrial motor controllers.
- Implemented real-time notifications system using WebSockets/PubSub and InfluxDB, integrated to an existing production system
- Delivered the project end-to-end, from initial design through to production integration.
